Pathways to Good Jobs – An Action-Forum for Service Providers
How do you support immigrants and refugees to find good jobs?
What challenges do you and your clients face?
Join the ACTION-forum to share promising strategies and build solutions together.
This forum is for those who work in direct service with immigrants, including settlement workers, employment service workers, community workers, outreach workers, social service workers and other direct service providers.
The Pathways to Good Jobs forum will showcase:
- Case studies of racialized immigrant and refugee families from Access Alliance research
- Short films highlighting key issues and solutions
- The chance to share and learn with colleagues from across Toronto on what we can do to: address discrimination; support building of newcomers’ career and professional networks; make change and help service users to achieve secure employment.
Fee: $10 (registration fee will provide food and beverages for the event).
