Sangeetham for Syria is a fundraiser concert that will be held on May 7th at the new Thamil Isai Kalaamanram Hall. It will feature Toronto musicians, as well as an array of classical dance performances. Through this initiative we hope to raise $10 000 that will be donated to the Ryerson University Lifeline Syria Challenge.
Ryerson University Lifeline Syria Challenge is the Ryerson community’s effort to support the goals of the Lifeline Syria group. This was an organization that was created in response to the tragedies of the refugee crisis in Syria. The group recruits, trains and assists sponsor groups as they welcome and aid Syrian refugees coming to Canada as permanent additions to the GTA.
Join us as we come together as a community to support the Ryerson University Lifeline Syria Challenge in a night of classical carnatic performances. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
