OCASI was established to act as a collective voice for agencies that serve immigrants, to improve services provided to immigrants in Ontario, and to coordinate responses to shared needs and concerns within the sector.

The Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants launched this initiative to strengthen capacity and accountability in Ontario’s immigrant- and refugee-serving sector through the development and implementation of voluntary organizational standards and related capacity building tools for agencies.

United Way Toronto
United Way assists funded agencies in Toronto to develop knowledge and increase their capacity to better serve clients and the growing needs of communities.  United Way offers free or low-cost training courses, providing learning opportunities for staff and board members to enhance their skills and individual knowledge development as a means to achieve organizational development.
