Employer’s Roadmap to Hiring and Retaining Internationally Trained Workers
This online guide, developed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, provides information about recruiting, hiring, integrating and retaining internationally trained workers.  Regional and sector-specific roadmaps are also available.

Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC)
TRIEC is a leader in providing customized solutions for companies and employers looking to improve their capacity to hire immigrant professionals.

TRIEC E-Learning Hub  
TRIEC Campus is an online learning hub with free self-directed learning resources designed to support businesses leaders and employees working in culturally diverse workplaces.  Online resources address topics related to recruitment, selection and management as well as skills needed for communication and team work.

The Hire Immigrants website has a wealth of resources, information and tools to help employers increase their capacity to recruit, hire, integrate and retain new Canadians.  In addition to their e-learning courses, you can sign up to receive bi-monthly e-mails with quick tips for your business.

Foreign Credentials Referral Office
Many employers find it challenging to evaluate applicants who have gained their education and credentials outside of North America.  The Employers Roadmap to hiring and retaining internationally trained workers, prepared by the Government of Canada, includes a section on assessing credentials, competencies and language skills.
